Sonia Rendigs is the director of Media Moguls. Sonia’s business acumen and strategic thinking has been well utilized in her assignments for leading restaurants, hotels and luxury brands around the globe. Since establishing Media Moguls in 2005, Sonia has developed a list of clients including some of Australia’s best known and loved food producers and home grown premium brands.
Prior to Media Moguls Sonia was working in the USA where she was the Director of Public Relations for Mandarin Oriental, New York. Earlier she worked at the acclaimed New York PR firm Middleton & Gendron. During her tenure with M&G Sonia was the US spokesperson for the Caribbean destination of St. Lucia and Donald Trump’s New York hotel, Trump International Hotel & Tower.
Before her time in the USA, Sonia was the opening General Manager for Chateau Yering in Victoria’s Yarra Valley. She was the founder of Wild Oak Cafe in the Dandenongs and worked for renowned restaurateur Stephanie Alexander for six years.
Sonia has a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Relations and Organisational Communications from New York University and sits on the Board of Strathcona Girls’ School in Canterbury.
